Night time is for playing! Especially when you have some awesome architecture, nature, and moonlight together! This was my first time here and it's now one of my favorite bridges!

Photographer

Hi there, my name is Chris. This is the spot where I can express my creativity and appreciation for the arts. During my undergraduate years, I learned a crucial life lesson: to be the best that I can be through the constant pursuit of knowledge. My other passion in the medical field gives me the attention to detail and meticulousness that is sometimes necessary in photography. Everything I learned about photography was self-taught – from peer-to-peer and field experience, countless hours of reading articles, books, and forums, and most importantly, mentoring from my dad.

Alongside medicine and basketball, photography is one of my burning passions. The first time I picked up a film camera (Canon T60) was when I took a photography class in high school. I had a blast expressing myself creatively through the assignments. Unfortunately, being young and with a limited budget resulted in some delay before I got my very own camera. Skip ahead 5 years and I am meeting my good friend, John. John had an interest in photography and his pictures un-shuttered my dormant passion. I ended up saving enough money to get myself a DSLR and started my trigger happy rampage. I shot all things and everything, whether it be stills, people, animals, or just a spec of dust on a table. I made a lot of mistakes and learned techniques to better myself. I know that photography, just like my passion in medicine, is a lifelong process of innovation and learning. I find solace in knowing that my skills and knowledge in photography can only grow from here. My goals behind the camera is simple: to capture the emotional intensity of the moment so that someone else can relive it.
